Trade

A trade is a systematic activity engaged in autonomously, in one’s own name, on one’s own responsibility, for the purpose of making a profit. In the Czech Republic, trades are indicated by the Act No 455/1991 Coll., the Trade Licensing Act. According to the Trade Licensing Act, trades may be unqualified, vocational, professional and permitted. Unqualified trades are not regulated. Vocational, professional and permitted professions are regulated. This means that for the performance of regulated trades, certain requirements need to be met (professional and other competences).
